BOARDING FACILITIES

The Boarding campus is located along Abak -Uyo road, Ediene-Abak, Abak LGA, about 15 minutes from Uyo metropolis. Its quiet, peaceful, and academic friendly environment allows students to properly focus on their studies without any form of distraction, and achieve their respective potentials.

Our palaces are fully air conditioned, equipped with beds, mattresses, and lockers for the storage of personal items. Each palace is also equipped with tastefully furnished common rooms, each with a controlled DSTV system installed.

GODSWILL HALL

The Godswill Akpabio Hall serves as the schools’ dining hall. The air conditioned hall is very spacious and adequately furnished for the comfort of the students while they enjoy a variety of nutritious continental and African dishes.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

At TOIS, the security and well being of our students and pupils is of utmost importance to us. For this reasons a number of steps have the employed to ensure that each child is adequately protected. These steps include:

• Well trained and equipped security guards that patrol the schools’ perimeter both day and night
• Installed Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, each equipped with Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) systems across the schools’ campus.
• Installed fire alarm system in each palace and other facilities, along with fire extinguishers.

BOARDING REQUIREMENTS

1. A black school bag
2. 1/2 dozen each of white singlets, pants or boxers (for boys)
3. 1/2 dozen each of white pants, bra and under wears (for girls)
4. 2 pajamas (for boys)
5. 1 night gown / 1 pajamas (for girls)
6. 1 hair net and 1 shower caps (for girls)
7. 3 packets of sanitary tower ( always (for girls))
8. 2 towels (medium sizes)
9. 2 face towels
10. white handkerchiefs
11. Body cream
12. Hair Pomade
13. A set of hair clippers
14. 2 packets of detergent and 6 bar soaps for laundry
15. 1 comb, 1 hair brush
16. 1 dozen of toilet soaps for bathing
17. 1 bucket, sponge and 1 disinfectant for bathing
18. 1 white small bucket with cover and 1 toilet bag
19. Toothbrush and toothpaste
20. 1 pair of bathroom slippers
21. 1 bottle of bleach
